Floriade 2022! Daytrip from Amsterdam, your greenest day out! April 14 - October 9 2022

Itinerary

An 8 hours daytrip from Amsterdam (or another location on request) to the Floriade Expo in Almere and, if time allows, another place of interest of your choice on the way back, with your own private guide and a luxury minivan and chauffeur.
Combine this visit with a tour to the Keukenhof gardens (in spring), Zaanse Schans windmills, picturesque fishermen villages, a drive through the tulip fields (in season), shopping at Batavia Outlet Village, sailing at IJsselmeer lake, a visit to Muiderslot Castle or something else on your list of favorite places to visit. This tour is custom made and in your own pace.

This private tour is for up to 7 people. Is your group bigger? I can arrange a coach with private driver (up to 19 or up to 40 people, prices on request).
Ticket for the Floriade Expo are included in the tourprice.

Meeting Point + Tour Duration

Meeting Point Options: Suggested by Guide: Let's meet in the hallway of your hotel in Amsterdam (please provide name and address). I will wear my green toursbylocals keycord, can't miss! Other locations (Schiphol airport, the cruise terminal, your hotel in another city, ...) on request, but an extra fee for time and mileage may apply. I can prepare a custom made tour for you with a link for easy booking.

Duration: 8 hours

Due to traffic problems a drive to or from the Floriade Expo could be longer than expected. Our professional driver will do his very best to get us there as quickly, but safely, as possible. Extra hours are not included in the tourprice.
Due to bad weather we can change the program according to your preferences.
This tour is only offered April 14 - Oct 9. Tulips are here from half of March until half of May max.

Transportation

We'll have our own VIP luxury van with private chauffeur with us all day. Also included are mileage, parking, tip for the driver and tourist taxes.

Is your group bigger than 7? I can arrange a coach and driver for up to 19 or up to 40 people. Please ask for prices.

Other transportation (renting a boat or a bike for instance) is not included in the tourprice. I can prepare an all inclusive tour on your request.

Estimated Local Cash Needed

3 euro - for a cup of coffee.

It's your tour: YOU decide if and when you need a break. We can buy a snack on the way, have a coffee/lunch break, go fine dining in a Michelin star restaurant (I can make reservations!) or have no break at all. Please bring a little amount in cash (euros) for food and drinks or personal expenses, according to your preferences. Most shops and restaurants except credit cards.
